About Caribbean Technology Review
The Caribbean C-suite guide to Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence.
A Different Kind of Technology Publication
Caribbean Technology Review was founded to fill a gap that every technology leader in this region has felt but rarely named. The gap between what technology is being promised to Caribbean organisations and what is actually being delivered. Between the announcement and the outcome. Between the boardroom briefing and the ground truth.
We do not cover technology in the abstract. We cover it as it touches Caribbean institutions, Caribbean economies, and Caribbean leaders making real decisions with real consequences. Every article in CTR is grounded in data, named organisations, and verifiable facts. We do not publish vendor-led content dressed as editorial. We do not congratulate organisations for announcements that have not yet become outcomes.
This is not a technology blog. This is the publication Caribbean technology leaders have been waiting for.

in the space of announcement and aspiration. In the space between what is
being promised and what is being delivered. |
What We Cover
CTR publishes six issues per year, bi-monthly, covering three core disciplines:
|
Digital
Transformation |
How Caribbean
enterprises are modernising operations, systems, and strategy — and what the
evidence actually shows. |
|
Cybersecurity |
The threat
landscape facing Caribbean organisations, board-level risk governance, and
lessons from incidents across the region. |
|
Artificial
Intelligence |
Practical AI
adoption in Caribbean business, executive guidance on governance and risk,
and honest assessments of what is working. |
Our Audience
CTR reaches 5,000+ verified technology and business decision-makers across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean, distributed directly by email each issue. Our readers hold positions of genuine organisational authority — C-suite executives, board members, senior IT leaders, and the practitioners they rely on for ground-level intelligence.
We distribute across banking and finance, telecommunications, energy, professional services, healthcare, and education. Every contact on our distribution list has been individually verified.
About the Editor
Ronald Strasburg is the founding editor of Caribbean Technology Review. He has spent more than a decade observing the intersection of technology, governance, and institutional change across the Caribbean region — a period that has encompassed multiple failed digital transformation programmes, a cybersecurity incident that cost a major regional bank eight figures, and the quiet, unglamorous success stories that never made the headlines but genuinely changed how organisations operate.
His editorial philosophy is straightforward: technology journalism in this region has for too long been press release journalism. Caribbean executives deserve better. CTR exists to provide it.
Ronald Strasburg writes under a pen name. CTR’s editorial independence is absolute.
Publication Schedule
Caribbean Technology Review publishes six issues per year on a bi-monthly cycle: May, July, September, November, January, and March. Issue 01 launches in May 2026.
